2. My lightly shimmery sparkly nail polish from Ulta. Clear with a touch of pizazz that only you notice.

3. Discovering my snuggly hoodie behind the jackets.

4. Left over pizza.

5. My new printer, which rocks my world.

Grace In Small Things - #3

1. A small girls head smushed close near her Play-Doh pancake muttering over and over again, "It smells GOOOOOOD!"

2. Chocolate Chip cookies from this place.

3. Soft sheets against my face.

4. My husband can be super goofy and it often makes me smile.

5. My Minnesota Twins t-shirt I got when I was 12. It's so soft and worn and ugly.

Grace In Small Things - #1

In order to feel more connected to the positive in life, I've decided to jump on the bandwagon and participate in Grace In Small things. I may not post every day, but I will do my best to stay faithful.
:)

1. My daughter walked up to me and said, "I make you happy, Mommy!" and planted a kiss on my mouth.

2. The nice lady on the phone who will wrangle some health care quotes for me.

3. Lunch with an old boss today - something to look forward to.

4. Getting to stay in bed for an extra thirty minutes.

5. 10 left over Peanut M&Ms on my desk, which are now in my belly!

Helloooo.....I need some light!

Howdy!

It's funny how life works sometimes. Here I am plugging away at life and WHAMMO - I hit a speed bump. Like many folks out there, my creative hobby is my passion. I love creating and expressing myself. I love the challenge of starting my own shops on ETSY and ARTFIRE and have so much to learn, but I am champing at the bit to learn it. My sister and I inspire each other and keep each other going.

Right as I was poised to go full throttle with everything Spindlegraphics, some darkness fell into my life. My "real" job has been hit by the economy and our entire office is closing very, very soon. So I am again redirected to "real" life and need to get all of that figured out.

Trying to balance finding a "real" job and trying to make my passion my "real" job has thrown me for a loop! Is anyone else out there experiencing the same difficulties?

Also - I LITERALLY need some light. I can tweak my shop photos until the cows come home, but I have to admit that I need some better in-home lighting to get my pictures crisp and clean the way I like to see them.

Here's an example of one of my photos of a listing I just put up.

Does anyone have any tips on balancing life and creativity and/or any photo tips?

Thanks peeps!

Angela

This is What My Holiday Has Meant for this Blog

In the spirit of Wordless Wednesday, which I missed AGAIN, I am posting this photo to show you just HOW incredibly PRODUCTIVE I have been since Christmas.

Happy 2009 and may we all be freshly inspired!
